Jerry Garcia just being his charming
self - hanging out with some iconic
symbols of the Grateful Dead
which hover whimsically all around him.
Jerry's larger than life-sized face and
body are painted on the base wood,
his arms are die-cut and raised
above the  picture plane.
One hand breaks the bottom border
of the painting. He is wearing my real sunglasses!
There is an embroidered border with
beads that runs along the wooden
handmade frame.
The dancing bears/sun/rose/and
steal-your-face skull are all hand-cut
from wood that is raised above the surface.
Everything on this piece is painted and
cut from wood by hand, including the
rustic frame. Different colored crystals
and glitter glisten and twinkle!
