die-cut wood and raised above the
picture plane.
His hat is 3D and breaks out of the top
edge of the painting. A cream-colored
frame with crackle-finish surrounds
Jimi. Iridescent paint swirls on
his shirt capture the light.
Everything on this piece is hand-
painted and cut (by me) except his
guitar strap and necklace charm,
which are real!
Crystals and small mirrors
placed throughout.
